Perro Guardián
Lima, 2001. The military Amnesty Law that pardoned those convicted of crimes against humanity during the country's internal war against terrorism is on the verge of being overturned. Perro, a former member of a paramilitary group freed by said law, works as an assasin for hire for a certain sector of the military. He lives alone in a dingy room that he leaves only to communicate with his superiors and fullfill his assigments. One particular job leads him to the Church of the Soldiers of Christ. Amongst prayers and cries for salvation, Perro is confronted with his past and spirals down a path of violence and death as he tries to justify his actions transforming himself into the sword of god.
